Day 1 – Dibrugarh Arrival – Roing (Approx 3-4 hrs drive)
Today you will be arriving at Dibrugarh, Assam which is the nearest airport and leads all the way to Roing – one of the jewels of Arunachal Pradesh. It
is situated in Lower Dibang Valley. It attracts the cross-section of the society with its picturesque landscape, ancient history and adventurous
locations. Roing is lies on the bank of the river Dibang as well as Brahmaputra River. On arrival check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 – Roing – Mayudia – Roing
With lush green forests setting a perfect surrounding and a view of stunning landscape with snow-clad mountains, Mayudia, at a height of 8000 feet, is
the perfect place for you to enjoy the artwork of nature. Mayudia is a hill resort situated at a distance of 56 kms from Roing. If you happen to be here
in winter, you will be awe-struck by the sight of snowfall and you can be a part of the limitless beauty that brings in unmemorable joy to your soul.
The ascending drive from Roing to Mayudia along the winding twelve-necked point (Baro Golai) of the road provides a sense of adventure as well as close
encounter with nature.
Day 3 – Roing – Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary – Roing
This sanctuary is 17 Km from Roing and is spread over an area of 281.5 sq km with varying altitude from 400 m to 3368 m above msl. Rare species of
animals like wild duck, takin, hollock gibbon, tiger, leopard, red panda, and elephant etc are found here. It has a beautiful Mehao Lake which is a
photographer’s delight and a favorite tourist destination. Next visit Sally Lake which is proof of the timeless beauty of Roing. It is a natural lake
surrounded by thick vegetation. The lake overlooks a beautiful valley.
Day 4 – Roing – Bhismaknagar – Roing
Bhismaknagar Fort, considered to belong to 8th century, is situated 30 km from Roing. The fort has been named the oldest archaeological site found here.
The wall that protects the fort is made of bricks, mud and stone and the fort’s north has natural protection in the form of hills. Bhismaknagar finds
reference in Bhagawad-gita and the Mahabharata. The Idu Mishmi tribe is associated with the legend of Rukmini Devi, King Bhismaka’daughter and Lord
Krishna’s consort. It is believed that she was from this tribe. Popular legends and traditions identify the ruins of the fort as the site of the capital
of King Bhismaka.
Day 5 – Roing – Dibrugarh
Today after such a naturally delight trip drive back to Dibrugarh. On arrival check in at the hotel and spend rest of the time at leisure. Overnight
stay.
Day 6 – Dibrugarh Departure
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drop at the Airport for your onward destination.
