Day 1: Guwahati Arrival
Today you will arrive at Guwahati, assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel for Check-In and overnight stay.
Day 2: Guwahati – Bomdila
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Bomdila - The small town of Bomdila is perched amongst the panoramic settings of the lofty ranges
of the eastern Himalayas. It is a remote destination and like few other Indian towns. Bomdila is located in the northwestern part of the state of
Arunachal Pradesh, in the northeastern region of India. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Bomdila – Sela Pass – Tawang
After breakfast, you will drive down to Tawang. On the way, you will have photo stops at, SELA – LA - About 50 Kms. from Dirang lies the Se La Pass at a
height of 13700 ft. It signals the entering into Tawang valley. Also visit Jaswantgarh is 20 km away from the Sela Pass – on the way to Tawang. It is
basically an Indian army Memorial built to honour an extraordinary brave soldier of the Indian Army who fought the Chinese Army single handedly. The
temple-like Jaswantgarh memorial houses a garlanded bronze bust of Jaswant Singh. His personal belongings including Army uniform, cap, watch, and belt
are also kept here. After all above visits we entering Tawang - Moored high up in the mountain ranges of the Himalayas, at 3500 meters above sea level
is Tawang-the beautiful land of Monpas. On arrival check in at the Tawang hotel.
Day 4 : Tawang
Day to explore the Cultural Capital of Arunachal Pradesh with a visit to - Urgelling Monastery (The birthplace of His Holi Highness ,the sixth Dalai
Lama 'Tsangyang Gyatso ' who was born on 1 March, 1683 in Tawang to Lama Tashi Tenzin of Urgeling, a descendant of the treasure revealer Pema Lingpa,
and Tsewang Lhamo, a Monpa girl hailing from a royal family of Bekhar Village. The sacred Urgelling monastery lies about five kilometers to the south of
the serene Tawang town. Surrounded by the graceful Himalayas and the picturesque Tawang-Chu valley, it was established by Urgen Sangpo as a Buddhist
spiritual centre.
After such history of glory and destruction, today the Urgelling monastery houses a single temple and shelters some of the monks who lead a simple life
and practice meditation and other Buddhist practices) and Tawang War Memorial (Tawang War Memorial is dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian
war. The memorial is nestled among picturesque snow-capped peaks overlooking the imposing Tawang-Chu valley.
In the afternoon, you will pay a visit to the The Tawang Monastery (The Famous Galden Namgyal Lhatse, popularly known as Tawang Monastery was founded by
Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in the year 1680-81. The monastery stands on the spur of a hill, about 10,000 feet above sea level and has ravines in the south
and west, narrow ridge on the north and gradual slope on the east. It offers a commanding and picturesque view of the Tawang-chu valley.
In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Tawang – Dirang
You will check – out after breakfast and drive down to Dirang (Between the High Sela Top and the Bomdila ridge lies the Dirang valley. Tourist can walk
around typical Monpa villages at Dirang and from Dirang you can visit Dirang Dzong, locally known as ‘JONG’ the fort at Dirang is an important
historical monument for the Monpas of Dirang circle.Check in at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 6: Dirang – Guwahati
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati. On arrival check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7: Guwahati Departure
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the Airport / Railway station for your onward journey.
